Children’s Day Celebration (November 14, 2014)

The children’s day celebration 2014 was organized by our teachers for the children, the whole day was dedicated only to entertain the students. It was a wonderful carnival with lots of indoor games and exciting prices, the stadium was converted into a carnival playground with lots of fun filled games. The morning assembly which is usually conducted by children was conducted by their teachers which made it very special.

The indoor games arranged for the children’s day celebration were: Cola Toss, Ping Pong, Paper Cup Pyramids, Darts, Ring Toss, Stand-a-Bottle, Hoop Shoot, Placing the Bindhi, Soft Ball Basket, Coin Toss, Riffle Shooting, Krazy Kans, Lucky Key, Breaking a Pot, Football Toss, etc. Students who proved their talents in these games were rewarded immediately with gifts and all participants were gifted chocolates. Headless cut-outs of legendary Superman, Dora Buji, and Chotta Beem were placed in the middle of the stadium; children placed their faces on these cut-outs and took photographs with great enthusiasm.

A grand food stall was organized by the XII graders, the profits from the stall were given for a good cause. The food stalls had variety of food items like puffs, brownies, pizzas, pastries, noodles, parathas, pop corns, candies, wafers, hot & cold beverages, etc. The students thronged the food stall to taste these delicacies.

All students irrespective of age and standard, along with their teachers, actively took part in all events organized on this very special day. The children’s day celebration was indeed a very enjoyable and memorable day for the children and the staff of St.Peter’s.
